Centre Manager – Shelagh Preest
My name is Shelagh, I was born in Vancouver Canada and moved to NZ with my family in 1970. I am married to Grant and have two grown up, married children, and three gorgeous grandsons. I have been working at MBK since 1998, It is a real privilege to build relationships with so many lovely families, I love serving and getting to know the families. I feel MBK is creating an environment where our children have a bright future. I have an amazing teaching team that I appreciate working alongside. We make deep connections with the children and their whole family which makes this kindergarten a very special inclusive place to learn, have fun, make friendships and prepare the children for their transition to school.
Head Teacher – Roselyn Hensman
My name is Roselyn, I am a qualified Primary & ECE teacher. I love working with children and being part of their growth and development. I am originally from India. My husband, two sons, mother and I immigrated to New Zealand in early 2004. I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, some particular TV serials and spending time with my family and cooking for them. I enjoy attending and watching the sports activities my sons and husband are involved in. We attend church together as a family and spend time with our friends when we can.
